1998-2004 Laser: Israeli champion, campaigned for Sydney and Athens Olympic Games-achieved the ISAF quota for the Games. 1998- 2004 Member of the Israeli national Sailing Team.

2006 – 2008 campaigned at the 49er class for Beijing Olympics

Coaching CV


Joint performance director World Sailing Academy together with colleague Pete Conway. Specialize in bringing top, modern coaching methods to developing countries, coaching individual sailors and consultancy for national teams and federations.

Developing sailing programs for Taiwan, Indonesia, Haiti, and several African countries.

The teams we have coached has won substantial medals at national games (Indonesia 7 medals out of 10, Taiwan 5 golds out of 6).

We have also been involved with individual sailors among them bronze medalist at laser U21 Europeans and several IODA Asian top ten.

2015 -2016

Coaching Indian laser radial sailor Nethra Kumanan from a beginner racer to preparing for her continental qualifiers for Rio 2016. Winner of ASAF youth cup, medaling at several laser Europa cups, 7th at Asian championship and 25th at ISAF youth worlds 2016.

Coaching in that international group youth sailors from Germany, Turkey and GBR who won 2 bronze medals at laser Europa cups and 2 top 15 at Laser Radial youth worlds and Europeans for girls.


Coaching Indian sailing team for the Asian games. I oversaw single handed classes and Hobie 16. Our team won a bronze medal.

Coaching Ashdod sailing club Laser squad. Team achieved silver medal and 3 top 10 in laser Europa cups.


Coaching Czech Republic 29er squad


Coaching Indian laser radial sailor in her quest to qualify for London Olympics during that time she achieved her best career results and came within 2 points of qualifying to the London Olympics.

Coaching Israeli laser 4.7 team, achieved 3 top 15 for the girls and a top ten for the boys.

Coaching Sophie-Marie Ertelt of Germany in the Laser Radial class when she rose from 148th in the world rankings to 20th


Coaching Laser squad for two of Israel’s major clubs. Achieved top 10 results at laser Europa cups.

Coaching Royal Bombay Yacht Club Optimist and Laser squad where we achieved one gold medal in a local event and best Indian performance at IODA Asians.

Coaching and preparing Israeli Skud 18 team for London Olympics.


Laser Coach at Ashdod Sailing club, during that time I manage to make my squad the highest achieving in Israel including multiple national champions and international top ten results


Started working as a freelance coach.

I was hired as a technical coach for the Indian laser radial team preparing for the Asian games.

Coached Israeli laser radial youth team. During that season, my team achieved U17 world champion and bronze medal.

During the preparation at Europa cups my team achieved gold medal for the girls as well as a 4th and 3 top 15 for the boys.

I was also assisting the Norwegian team during the youth worlds.

Private coach for Laura Baldwin (GBR) in the laser radial class. During that time, we achieved 3 top 10 results in world cups.


Head coach and laser coach at Bnei Herzelya. I was leading a development youth program, Laser class and Windsurfing. Spotting talents out of the schools sailing teaching program.

Responsible for 8 classes, Among our major achievements:

Windsurfing gold medal at the youth Olympic games 2009. Laser Radial team won gold and silver at the youth nationals and both achieved top 20 at the youth worlds.
